Corrosion-Resistant Alumina Ceramic Components For Chemical Pharmaceutical And Environmental Protection

Corrosion-Resistant Alumina Ceramic Components For Chemical Pharmaceutical And Environmental Protection

Corrosion-resistant alumina ceramic components are industrial-grade parts manufactured from high-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃ content ≥99%) using specialized processes. These components demonstrate exceptional chemical stability, withstanding strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, making them ideal for chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental protection applications in corrosive environments.

Primary Applications

  • Chemical Equipment: Reactor linings, pump/valve components, pipeline liners

  • Environmental Engineering: Exhaust treatment systems, acid-base neutralization units

  • Pharmaceutical Machinery: Drug delivery components, reaction vessel parts

  • Electroplating Industry: Electroplating tank components, anode hangers

  • Petroleum Extraction: Corrosion-resistant seals, measurement instrument parts

Key Advantages

Superior Corrosion Resistance: Withstands pH1-14 extreme environments
High Hardness & Wear Resistance: Mohs hardness 9, 10x more wear-resistant than steel
Excellent Thermal Stability: Operating range -50°C to 1600°C
Contamination-Free: Metal ion-free, prevents medium contamination
Extended Service Life: 5-8x longer lifespan than conventional metal parts

Manufacturing Process

  1. Material Selection: 99% high-purity alumina powder + sintering additives

  2. Isostatic Pressing: 200MPa forming pressure ensures structural density

  3. High-Temperature Sintering: 1750°C hydrogen atmosphere sintering

  4. Precision Machining: CNC processing with diamond tools

  5. Surface Treatment: Nano-level polishing or special coatings

  6. Quality Inspection: X-ray flaw detection + chemical resistance testing

Usage Instructions

Installation Notes:

  • Avoid direct impact with metal tools

  • Use dedicated plastic gaskets for cushioning during assembly

  • Apply even force for flange connections

  • Pre-clean with 5% dilute acid before initial use

Usage Limitations:
✖ Not suitable for hydrofluoric acid environments
✖ Avoid rapid temperature changes (>200°C/min)
✖ Do not exceed 1600°C operating temperature
